Villers-Bretonneux, a town of memory

Villers-Bretonneux is a town in the Santerre, about 20 km east of Amiens, world-famous for its close bond with Australia. Retaken by Australian troops in April 1918, it is home to the Franco-Australian Museum, the Australian National Memorial and the Victoria school, rebuilt after the war by Australian schoolchildren.
