Villejuif's beloved spring flea market celebrating 30 years
For thirty years, the Village des Sorrières association has transformed Place Oscar Niemeyer into a vibrant open-air flea market. Held every late May, this residents-only event welcomes 100 to 200 stalls offering clothing, toys, books, vinyl records and assorted curios. Free entry, friendly atmosphere, just steps from Léo Lagrange metro station.
Since the late 1990s, the Village des Sorrières association has organised an annual flea market on Place Oscar Niemeyer, a landmark in the heart of the Léo Lagrange neighbourhood. The 2026 edition marks a milestone: the 30th anniversary of this beloved community event. Each May, local residents set up stalls from as early as 6:30 AM, offering clothing, household items, toys, books, vinyl records and all manner of second-hand treasures.
Strictly reserved for private sellers — no professional traders — the market preserves its authentic, neighbourhood atmosphere. Visitors enjoy free entry from 8 AM to 6 PM, making it a perfect family outing. The market's location next to Léo Lagrange metro station (line 7) ensures easy access from across the Paris region.
