Annual car boot sale by the Armançon, organized by the Genay en Mouv association
Every May, the village of Genay, located in the Montbardois region in northwestern Côte-d'Or, hosts a car boot sale organized by the association Genay en Mouv. The event takes place on rue d'Armançon, in a privileged natural setting by the Armançon river.
The Genay car boot sale is distinguished by its bucolic location by the Armançon. Stalls are set up along the river, offering bargain hunters and exhibitors a most pleasant rural setting. Parking is nearby and the site is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The organizers offer free pitches up to 5 meters, then a rate of 1.50 euros per additional meter. This attractive pricing policy encourages participation from as many people as possible and contributes to the diversity of items offered for sale.
Genay is a small commune in Côte-d'Or nestled in the Armançon valley, near Semur-en-Auxois. The hilly landscape of the Auxois, between hedgerows and rivers, offers an ideal setting for a spring bargain hunting day. The snacks and drinks provided by volunteers complete this friendly outing.
