30 editions of treasure hunting around the Romanesque church

The Vide-Greniers de Concressault is a thirty-year-old event for treasure hunters from the Sancerrois region. Every third Sunday of July, the Place de l'Église hosts approximately 45 private exhibitors who offer their finds to visitors. The association of the Friends of the Saint-Pierre Church has been organizing this event since 1996, and the profits are fully donated to the maintenance and restoration of the religious building.

Concressault, village of the Sancerrois

Concressault is a small commune in the northeast of the Cher department, nestled in the hills of the Sancerrois region, between Vailly-sur-Sauldre and Aubigny-sur-Nère. This village in Berry, crossed by the Grande Sauldre river, has a rich heritage including its Saint-Pierre Church, a Romanesque building that overlooks the central square. The Sancerrois region is a land of vineyards, hedgerows, and rural traditions, and Concressault retains an authentic character appreciated by visitors.

A friendly and supportive car boot sale

From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., stands line up around the square offering furniture, crockery, knick-knacks, books, toys, clothing, and everyday objects. The fee for exhibitors is €2 per linear meter, with no prior reservation. Food vendors are not accepted. Refreshments and food are offered by the association. Activities complete the program. Admission is free for visitors.
