The Montigny Car Boot Sale

Every May, the small commune of Montigny, located in the berrichon Pays Fort to the northeast of the Cher department, hosts a car boot sale and flea market in the car park opposite the school. This village event brings together locals and passing bargain hunters in a friendly and authentic atmosphere.

A Spring Rendezvous

From 8 am to 6 pm, private sellers set up their stalls in the car park, offering a variety of second-hand items: clothing, toys, crockery, trinkets, books, and tools. Entry is free, making it an ideal family outing to enjoy the first beautiful days of spring in the berrichon countryside.

Montigny, Village of the Pays Fort

Montigny is a rural commune in the Pays Fort, a hilly and wooded area located between Sancerre and Henrichemont. This region, once renowned for its agricultural richness – hence its name "Pays Fort" (Strong Country) – offers landscapes of hills, hedgerows, and traditional farms.
