The meeting place for bargain hunters in the heart of Chalosse
Each year, the small village of Lacrabe hosts its traditional car boot sale in the Place de la Mairie. Nestled in the heart of the Landes Chalosse region, this village of 259 inhabitants transforms for a day into a lively and friendly hunting ground. Around 45 exhibitors, mainly individuals, display their stalls to offer a multitude of everyday objects, trinkets, and finds of all kinds.
Visitors can find old crockery, second-hand clothes, children's toys, books, decorative items, and many other attic treasures. The atmosphere is resolutely family-friendly: no professionals here, but residents from the village and surrounding areas emptying their attics and cellars in good spirits. Prices remain very affordable, much to the delight of bargain hunters on a small budget.
Lacrabe, a member of the Chalosse Tursan community of municipalities, offers a green and peaceful setting for this flea market day. The Place de la Mairie, shaded and welcoming, allows for pleasant strolling between the stalls. A refreshment stand and a fast-food service are provided by the volunteers of the festival committee, allowing you to eat on-site throughout the day.
