Car boot sale organized as part of the local festivals of Vielle-Tursan
Every summer, the village of Vielle-Tursan celebrates its local festival, and the car boot sale is one of the highlights. Organized by the festival committee, this event transforms the village streets into an open-air flea market, where you can find old crockery, toys, clothes, and trinkets at low prices.
The Vielle-Tursan festivals, traditionally held in July, bring the whole village together for several days. The car boot sale is part of a festive program that includes Landes races in the arena, country meals, dances, and entertainment for all ages. This combination of flea market and local festival gives the event a particularly friendly dimension.
Vielle-Tursan is a small commune of about 350 inhabitants, nestled in the heart of the Tursan vineyards. This wine-growing region, one of the oldest in Aquitaine, produces red, white, and rosé wines under the Tursan appellation. The village, with its Romanesque church and traditional houses, offers a charming setting for a summer day of bargain hunting.
