Large car boot sale with 200 exhibitors in the pedestrian streets of Niort city centre
The Niort Cœur de Ville car boot sale takes over the pedestrian streets of the historic centre of the Deux-Sèvres prefecture. With around 200 exhibitors, it is one of the city's largest car boot sales. Stalls spread along shopping streets, from rue Sainte-Marthe to adjacent squares, offering a vast browsing route between heritage buildings and shop windows. Clothing, toys, books, vinyl records, décor and everyday items attract thousands of visitors from Niort and surrounding communes.
Niort, prefecture of Deux-Sèvres and capital of the Marais Poitevin, hosts a large car boot sale in its pedestrian city centre streets every spring. With some 200 exhibitors, this event transforms the historic heart of the city into an immense open-air treasure hunting ground.
The route crosses the finest streets of Niort: from rue Sainte-Marthe to adjacent squares and lanes. Visitors stroll between old facades, food shops and café terraces, enjoying a remarkable urban setting.
Niort is dominated by its imposing Romanesque keep, a vestige of the Plantagenet castle. Crossed by the Sèvre Niortaise, the city combines medieval heritage with economic dynamism.
The Niort City Centre car boot sale returns on Sunday 19 April 2026 in the pedestrian streets of the historic centre. Around 200 exhibitors will offer clothing, toys, books, décor and miscellaneous items from 8 AM to 5 PM. Pitch: €3/linear metre. Registration at MissTigri boutique, 30 rue Sainte-Marthe. Free admission.
