Around Dampierre, bargain hunters can extend their day with a visit to the Madeleine castle in Chevreuse, the Vaux-de-Cernay abbey, Les Mesnuls, or a hike on the many marked trails that criss-cross the region. The nearby Breteuil castle also offers themed visits and a lovely park.
