About Uvarium Flea Market Moissac

For the first time in 2026, the Festive et Récréative association moves its traditional flea market from Quai Charles-de-Gaulle to Esplanade de l'Uvarium, in Moissac (82200). On Friday 8 May, public holiday, around 80 exhibitors will display from 7am to 6pm facing the abbey city, in a renovated setting by the Tarn. Free entry, food on site.

A new address for an unmissable rendezvous

The Festive et Récréative association has organised the 8 May flea market in Moissac for several years, and 2026 marks a major venue change: the event leaves Quai Charles-de-Gaulle to move to the Esplanade de l'Uvarium, a vast renovated promenade by the Tarn. This new location gives a fresh look to the event and offers the 80 expected exhibitors a more open, comfortable and photogenic setting, facing the silhouette of Saint-Pierre Abbey.

The Uvarium, a Moissac landmark

The Uvarium of Moissac, built in the 1930s, is an emblematic site of the chasselas city. Originally designed as a grape cure renowned for its benefits, it has become a strolling and event space appreciated by locals and tourists. Its recent renovation has made it an ideal venue for events and markets, combining Art Deco architecture with riverside.

What you will find

With about 80 exhibitors — private sellers and professionals — the offering is traditionally varied: vintage and contemporary clothes, china and porcelain, toys, books and comics, vinyl, second-hand furniture, decoration, bric-a-brac, antiques, tools, appliances. As 8 May is a public holiday, attendance is usually high from mid-morning.

A traditional Moissac event

The 8 May flea market is anchored in the annual calendar of Tarn-et-Garonne bargain hunters. It marks the start of the spring high season for antique fairs in the city.

Why come?

Beyond bargain hunting, the event is the perfect chance to discover Moissac, one of the most beautiful cities in Tarn-et-Garonne. Saint-Pierre Abbey, UNESCO World Heritage site as part of the Camino de Santiago routes, its exceptional Romanesque tympanum, its beautiful cloister, deserve a visit.

Tips

Arrive early (7-8am) for the best finds. On-site catering and drinks. Exhibitors must book in advance and arrive from 6am with ID. Contact: 09 61 07 65 42.
