A green event in the heart of the Kochersberg

The Mahé Green Plant Swap in Kirchheim is a spring event that celebrates gardening, plant exchange and biodiversity. Every April, amateur and passionate gardeners come together to swap, sell and buy plants of all kinds: perennials, annuals, aromatics, vegetable seedlings, shrub cuttings, heritage seeds, bulbs, houseplants and young fruit trees. Participants can also find second-hand gardening accessories: tools, pots, stakes, gardening books and watering equipment.

Kirchheim, a village in the Kochersberg between tradition and nature

Kirchheim is a village of about 900 inhabitants located in the Kochersberg, the fertile agricultural plateau northwest of Strasbourg. The Kochersberg is one of the breadbaskets of Alsace, recognized for the richness of its soil.

Eco-responsibility and gardening passion

The Green Swap promotes an ecological and solidarity-based approach. Rather than throwing away surplus production or unwanted plants, they are exchanged or resold at low prices. It is a gesture for local biodiversity.
