Every year in May, the village of Sollacaro organizes its spring car boot sale on the school square. This popular and friendly market, which starts at 8 am and ends around 4 pm, hosts about twenty exhibitors — mainly individuals — who come to clear out their attics and offer for sale all sorts of items: clothes, books, toys, crockery, small furniture, trinkets, and curiosities.

The event is human-sized, giving it a warm and typically village atmosphere. The pitch price is modest — €10 for 3 meters — allowing everyone to participate and find buyers for items they no longer use. For visitors, entry is completely free. The number of pitches is limited to about twenty, ensuring an intimate and friendly setting.
