An autumn car boot sale for the benefit of Olmeto's culture

In November, the Baracci baths in Olmeto host a car boot sale and flea market organized by the Olmeto Animation Committee (CAO) for the benefit of the Culture & Heritage in Ulmetu association. This event combines the pleasure of treasure hunting with a solidarity and cultural dimension, with proceeds contributing to the financing of actions for the preservation and enhancement of Olmeto's heritage.

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the paths of the thermal park are transformed into an open-air market where private sellers and curious visitors mingle to exchange, sell, and buy. You can find, among other things, unusual items, winter clothing, books, crockery, and all sorts of second-hand goods — an ideal opportunity to find bargains while supporting the village's community life.

The Culture & Heritage in Ulmetu association

The Culture & Heritage in Ulmetu association works to safeguard and promote the heritage of the commune of Olmeto. It organizes conferences, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns on the history, traditions, and monuments of the village and its territory. The proceeds from the car boot sale directly contribute to financing these cultural initiatives.

Olmeto — Ulmetu in Corsican — takes on a particularly peaceful atmosphere in November. The summer tourists have left the Gulf of Valinco, giving way to an authentic daily life. The thermal spa of the Bains de Baracci, surrounded by its Mediterranean vegetation in autumn hues, provides a pleasant setting for this outdoor day.
