Savigné Spring Market and Flea Market

A spring meeting in Civraisien

Savigné, a commune of close to 1,500 inhabitants next to Civray in southern Vienne, holds its Spring Market and flea market each spring. The 2026 edition takes place Sunday 26 April 2026, 8am to 6pm, at the Village Hall, 3 Route de Vergne. Organised by APES (Savigné's parents association), it is a staple of the local calendar in Civraisien en Poitou.

A village-scale flea market

The Spring Market combines two sides: a brocante / garage sale with 30-50 sellers (private and occasional pros) showing bric-a-brac, dishware, books, toys and small furniture; and a market side with a few local producers, craft makers and associations. Everything unfolds on the car parks and around the hall.

Savigné and Civraisien en Poitou

Savigné belongs to the Civraisien en Poitou community in southern Vienne, at the gateway to Charente. Five minutes from Civray, it has a lively town with shops, schools and active associations. Nearby: Civray and its Saint-Nicolas church (extraordinary Romanesque façade), Charroux (Most Beautiful Village of France, abbey), walks along the Charente river. Civraisien is still rural, authentic, untouched by mass tourism.

APES runs this event to fund school activities: outings, fairs, equipment, educational projects. A sale where you thrift with purpose — each buy helps the school. A fine example of the key role rural associations play.
