Held in the wooded park surrounding the former Saint-Chamand Castle — today a community centre — this event brings together neighbourhood families, exhibitors from nearby communes and bargain hunters from central Avignon.

Saint-Chamand is a social housing district built in the 1960s in south-east Avignon, beyond the ramparts. Despite its challenging reputation, it is also rich in community life and cultural diversity. The vide-grenier embodies this friendly dimension.

Spring in Avignon kicked off gently with this 2026 edition. From early morning, exhibitors — mostly neighbourhood residents — set up under the park's tall trees, offering children's clothing, toys, crockery, books and small appliances.
The community refreshment bar was a hit all day, giving browsers a friendly break. See you in spring 2027.
