The spring flea market of the Sailly-Bray hamlet near the Bay of Somme
The Sailly-Bray Sport et Loisir flea market is one of the spring gatherings for Bay of Somme bargain hunters. Organized in Noyelles-sur-Mer by the Sport et Loisir association, it brings together between 80 and 100 exhibitors from 6am. Catering, refreshments, carousel and toilets on site: a complete flea market at the heart of one of the most beautiful territories of the Picardy coast.
On Sunday 19 April 2026, the hamlet of Sailly-Bray, attached to the commune of Noyelles-sur-Mer, hosts its annual flea market organized by the Sport et Loisir association. From 6am, exhibitors and bargain hunters gather for a great day of sales at the gates of the Bay of Somme. With 80 to 100 expected exhibitors and a very accessible price of €2/linear metre, this event is one of the popular spring gatherings in this exceptional territory.
The Sport et Loisir association of Sailly-Bray, which carries this event, is part of those local structures that bring rural hamlets to life. Volunteers mobilize to welcome exhibitors, set up signage, manage refreshments and catering, and organize ancillary activities such as the children's carousel. The modest €2/linear metre rate allows many individuals to participate, guaranteeing a good exhibitor turnout.
Noyelles-sur-Mer is a coastal Picardy commune at the mouth of the Somme, directly on the edge of the bay. A village with rich history (notably home to the Chinese cemetery, memory of Chinese workers of the First World War), it is an ideal access point to discover the Bay of Somme, classified among the most beautiful bays in the world. The Sailly-Bray hamlet, with its wet meadows and horizon open to the bay, offers a remarkable natural setting for this flea market.
The presence of the carousel, toilets and on-site catering makes the Sailly-Bray flea market a gathering particularly suited to families. Children can have fun while parents hunt for bargains, and you can easily spend the whole day on site.
The flea market is the ideal opportunity for an escape to the Bay of Somme. A few kilometres away, you'll find Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and its perched medieval town, Le Crotoy and its beach facing the bay, the Marquenterre bird park to observe migratory birds, or the small steam trains that travel along the coast.
