The Puces Nautiques de Valras: the meeting point for boaters on the Hérault coast

Every May 8th, the port of Valras-Plage (34350) hosts the Puces Nautiques, a flea market entirely dedicated to used maritime equipment. From 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, the quays are transformed into a vast nautical sale where boaters can buy and sell sails, ropes, fittings, outboard motors, safety equipment, wetsuits, anchors, and navigation instruments. It's the perfect opportunity to equip yourself at a low price before the summer season or to find a buyer for unused equipment.

A rich program beyond the market

The Puces Nautiques are not limited to sales. The event offers a program of nautical activities that delight sea lovers: an exhibition of naval modeling presents models made by local clubs, the association Lous Ramaïres offers an initiation to traditional rowing on Catalan boats, and the SNSM (Société Nationale de Sauvetage en Mer) opens the doors of its rescue boat for visits and sea safety demonstrations.
