Semi-night flea market organized by the COS of Cusset in summer
Cusset is a commune in the agglomeration of Vichy, in the center of the Allier. Former capital of medieval Bourbonnais — it was in Cusset that the assemblies of the duchy were held — the town retains a remarkable architectural heritage with its ramparts, its prisoner tower, and its half-timbered houses.
The semi-night format is an original idea that avoids the summer heat. From 4 PM to 11 PM, treasure hunters stroll between the stalls in the light of sunset and then under the lights, in a special atmosphere that gives another dimension to treasure hunting. This format attracts a different, family-friendly, and festive audience.
The COS (Comité des Oeuvres Sociales) of Cusset is a dynamic associative actor that organizes several flea market events throughout the year. The semi-night flea market in July and the Puces des Cours in June are the two major events in its calendar.
