First edition of the Puces Nautiques de Solenzara at the marina, in March — marine flea market and used nautical equipment
The Puces Nautiques de Solenzara is a brand new event organized by the Solenzara marina in March. The first of its kind at this port on the Côte des Nacres, this event brings together sellers of used nautical equipment, sea accessories, and all sorts of maritime items. Following the tradition of the Puces Nautiques de Calvi, this spring gathering targets boaters, fishermen, and lovers of the marine world.
The Port de Plaisance de Solenzara launched the very first edition of its Puces Nautiques in March, an innovative and original event that follows the tradition of second-hand nautical markets, already well-established in other Corsican and Mediterranean ports. This first edition marks Solenzara's entry into the event calendar for the island of beauty.
The idea behind the Puces Nautiques is simple and appealing: to bring together sellers of used nautical equipment at the port — sailing equipment, outboard motors, life jackets, navigation instruments, dinghies, moorings, as well as marine clothing and maritime decorative objects — to allow other boaters, fishermen, or simply lovers of the marine world to acquire equipment at reduced prices. An economic and ecological principle that appeals to an ever-wider audience.
Solenzara, a natural port in the commune of Sari-Solenzara, has an active marina that welcomes boaters, sailboats, and motorboats all year round. Located at the mouth of the Solenzara river, this port is a popular stop for sailors along the Côte des Nacres between Porto-Vecchio and Bastia.
By organizing its first Puces Nautiques, the port of Solenzara follows the example of other Corsican marinas, notably the Port de Calvi, whose Puces Nautiques have been very successful for several years. The event allows the port to establish itself as a place of life and conviviality for the nautical community, beyond its function as a simple stopover.
The choice of March for this Puces Nautiques is strategic: it is the period for preparing the nautical season, the time when boaters relaunch their boats, check and complete their equipment. Buying used equipment at this time is particularly relevant: you can equip or re-equip your boat at a lower cost before the first spring outings at sea. The mild Corsican climate in March makes this outdoor event pleasant, without the intense summer heat.
The Puces Nautiques de Solenzara return in March 2026 at the Port de Plaisance de Solenzara. Used nautical equipment, sea accessories, and maritime items to start the season at a lower cost. Côte des Nacres, South Corsica. Exact date to be confirmed.
