Puces de Roissiat

Les Puces de Roissiat, a must-attend event since 1989

Every August 15th, the hamlet of Roissiat, in the commune of Courmangoux, hosts one of the largest flea markets in the Ain department. Created in 1989 by the Groupe d'Animation de Courmangoux, Les Puces de Roissiat attracts thousands of visitors and over 300 exhibitors each year.

A remarkable site at the foot of Mont Myon

The Place du Candi, in the heart of the hamlet of Roissiat, offers an exceptional panorama of Mont Myon and the Bresse plain. The flea market takes place at the start of the Mémoire de Pierre trail, adding a heritage and landscape dimension to the event. The setting is unique, between the hills of Revermont and the Bressan bocage.

Over 300 exhibitors

Individuals and professionals mingle to offer a wide selection of items: antique furniture, trinkets, tableware, vinyl records, toys, books, tools, and curiosities of all kinds. The price is 2 euros per linear meter, and it is possible to set up from noon the day before. The event is open from 6 am to 6 pm on the day, and the sale of new items and services is prohibited.

Musical atmosphere and gastronomy

Barrel organ players and hurdy-gurdy players liven up the aisles, creating a unique and festive atmosphere. For food, the meal under the marquee features the local specialty: andouillettes in Mont Myon sauce. Sandwiches and grilled meats are also available.
