A family car boot sale in the heart of Coligny

The Foirefouille de Coligny is the unmissable event of the back-to-school season for bargain hunters from Bresse and Revermont. Organized every year on the second Sunday of September by the Sou des Écoles de Coligny, this event brings together about a hundred exhibitors on the Place des Tilleuls and in the surrounding areas.

Coligny, a historic village in Bresse de l'Ain

A commune in the east of the Ain department, Coligny is a Bressan village located about 25 kilometers northeast of Bourg-en-Bresse, at the foot of the first foothills of the Revermont. The town is famous for giving its name to the Coligny calendar, a Gaulish calendar discovered in 1897 and considered one of the most important Celtic epigraphic remains. The village offers a pleasant setting for a day of outdoor treasure hunting.

A solidarity event for children

The profits from the Foirefouille are donated to the Sou des Écoles, an association that finances school trips, shows, and educational activities for the children of the commune. Volunteers manage the refreshment stand and food service throughout the day.

Practical information for exhibitors

The car boot sale welcomes individuals wishing to clear out attics, cellars, and closets. Registration is done directly on-site on the day of the event. Admission is free for visitors.
