The rural flea market organised by the Les EPYS association
The Prunay-en-Yvelines Flea Market is organised every spring by the Les EPYS association (Prunay-en-Yvelines Solidarity Support). In this small rural village in the far south of the Yvelines department, the event brings together private individuals and some professionals in a warm, family atmosphere. The 2026 edition takes place on Sunday 3 May.
Prunay-en-Yvelines is a small rural village of just over a thousand inhabitants in the far south of the Yvelines department. In this plateau village, the Les EPYS association organises an annual flea market that is one of the highlights of local life. The 2026 edition will take place on Sunday 3 May.
Les EPYS works for village animation and solidarity between residents. The flea market they organise is both a festive rendezvous and a source of funding for their activities. Private individuals and professionals are welcome for a modest fee per linear metre.
Rural flea markets offer a very different experience from large urban events. Here, there is time to chat with sellers, often neighbours or friends, and discover items from real family attics. Old tools, grandmother's tableware, childhood toys, books, clothes and various curiosities make up the stalls.
Beyond the flea market, Prunay-en-Yvelines deserves a stop for its peace, its old church and its preserved setting. The village is near the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Natural Park, offering visitors the chance to combine bargain hunting with discovering the Yvelines countryside.
Arrive early to enjoy the best pieces. Exhibitor registration is directly with the Les EPYS association. Refreshments are usually offered on site by volunteers.
