Two April Wednesdays to open the hunting season
On 22 and 29 April 2026, the Promenade Aymeric Simon-Lorière in Sainte-Maxime officially opens the seafront flea-market season. Two consecutive Wednesdays not to miss for bargain hunters of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez: antique furniture, Provençal faience, collector jewellery, curios — facing the Mediterranean.
In spring, the Wednesday flea market in Sainte-Maxime takes on a particular momentum. On 22 and 29 April 2026, both April dates mark the ramp-up in footfall and the arrival of spring-holiday visitors. The Promenade Aymeric Simon-Lorière fills with professional stalls under the palms, between the main beach and the harbour.
These two Wednesdays are part of the permanent weekly market, but footfall is far higher than mid-winter. Hunters, short-stay tourists and second-home owners intersect on the promenade.
The newly renovated promenade runs along Sainte-Maxime's main beach, with wide views over the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and full amenities (cafés, ice cream, restaurants). The flea market blends in seamlessly.
Wednesdays 22 and 29 April 2026, the professional flea market takes over Promenade Aymeric Simon-Lorière again. Fine lineup from the Var and surroundings, facing the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Great pre-peak hunting.
Via the D559. Paid parking nearby (Pré Conil, town centre).
Wednesdays 22 and 29 April 2026, whole day per season (usually 8am-6pm).
Professional antique dealers. Booking with the weekly market organiser.
Public restrooms, cafés and restaurants along the promenade.
