A monthly second-hand fashion rendezvous
In Le Plan-de-la-Tour, an authentic village of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, a monthly vide-dressing gathers private sellers on the village square. From 10am to 4pm on scheduled Saturdays, it is the local second-hand fashion fixture: clothing, accessories, shoes and jewellery, with food service from noon. Organised by the town hall.
Nestled in the Maures hills a few kilometres from Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Tropez, Le Plan-de-la-Tour is one of the most authentic and low-key villages of the gulf. Far from the coast's bustle, it maintains a typical village life reflected in monthly events like this vide-dressing.
Organised by the town hall, it takes place on the village square, usually Saturday, 10am to 4pm. Several dates pace the year, about one per month in mild seasons. Emphasis on second-hand fashion, echoing the locals' eco-minded spirit.
The charm is the village vibe: sellers mostly locals from Plan-de-la-Tour and nearby, hunters take time to chat, kids play on the square. Food opens at noon with Provençal dishes.
Plan-de-la-Tour is a street-village tucked in the hills with a preserved old centre: Saint-Martin church, fountains, the Madrague mill, AOP Côtes de Provence vineyards. Weekly market on Wednesday mornings. Extend with a stroll and a local wine tasting.
In 2026, the monthly Plan-de-la-Tour vide-dressing returns on the village square, scheduled Saturdays 10am-4pm. Second-hand fashion, authentic village vibe, food from noon. Exact calendar via the town hall.
Plan-de-la-Tour is reached from Sainte-Maxime via the D25 (20 min). Village parking; the square is pedestrianised on event days.
Scheduled Saturdays, 10am to 4pm. Exact calendar via the town hall. Food from noon.
