AS Niedernai Flea Market

The AS Niedernai Flea Market is an unmissable event for bargain-hunting enthusiasts in the Bas-Rhin. Organized each year in May by the footballers of the AS Niedernai, it takes place in the heart of the village, in the streets around the center, from 6:00 AM. All the club volunteers mobilize to welcome exhibitors and visitors in the best conditions. The profits help fund the football club's activities, thus contributing to the associative and sporting life of the village.

Niedernai, a typical small Alsatian village

Niedernai is a small commune of about 1,300 inhabitants located in the Bas-Rhin, a few kilometers from Barr and Obernai, at the foot of the Alsatian vineyard. The village retains a beautiful rural heritage with its half-timbered houses, its moated castle, its church, and its typical alleys. Niedernai's location in the heart of the Alsatian plain, in the immediate vicinity of the Wine Route, makes it an ideal place to combine bargain hunting and tourist discovery. Bargain hunters take advantage of their visit to tour the wine cellars and admire the rolling landscapes of the Alsatian foothills.

The flea market offers a huge variety of items to hunt for: antiques, old furniture, dishware, glassware, silverware, vintage clothing, toys, books, postcards, vinyl records, trinkets, and decorative items. Exhibitors come from all over Alsace and neighboring regions, offering visitors a wide choice. The refreshment stand and light food service run by club volunteers offer grilled sausages, tarte flambée, pretzels, and drinks throughout the day. A warm and friendly atmosphere, typically Alsatian.
