The great spring flea market in the heart of the water-slope town
In the heart of Montech, famous for its canal and water slope, the Comité des Célébrations organises a large spring flea market that takes over the town centre. Private sellers and brocante dealers offer treasure hunters a wide range of vintage items, antique furniture and bric-à-brac, in the unique historical setting of this Tarn-et-Garonne town.
South of Montauban, Montech is famous for its water slope, a unique engineering structure on the Canal de Garonne, restored and turned into a major tourist site. Each spring, the Comité des Célébrations organises a great flea market that transforms the town centre into a true treasure hunters' route.
The Montech spring flea market gathers private sellers and exhibitors from across the department. You'll find clothing, toys, books, dishes, vinyl records, baby items and curios, plus brocante stalls with vintage furniture, antique lamps and collectibles.
Hunting for treasures in Montech also means enjoying an exceptional setting along the Canal de Garonne, with the chance to visit the famous water slope after browsing.
The Comité des Célébrations de Montech invites everyone on Sunday 26 April 2026 in the town centre for its big spring flea market and brocante. A day of treasure hunting, discoveries and conviviality in the heart of the water-slope town.
