ADEPL Swap Meet in Locmiquélic

The ADEPL (Association des Amis des Écoles Publiques de Locmiquélic) is organizing its traditional swap meet at the Ty Douar nursery school. Around 50 exhibitors, mainly individuals, are offering clothing, toys, books, trinkets, and everyday items at low prices.

Locmiquélic, a small town in the Lorient estuary

Locmiquélic is a commune of nearly 4,000 inhabitants located on the south bank of the Lorient estuary, opposite the Keroman submarine base. This charming town, accessible by water bus from Lorient, offers an exceptional panorama of the estuary and maintains a vibrant community spirit. The Ty Douar school, whose name means "house of the earth" in Breton, is a central hub of neighborhood life.

An event to benefit public schools

The profits from the swap meet are donated to the ADEPL to fund extracurricular activities, outings, and educational projects for the public schools of Locmiquélic. Refreshments and food are available on site, provided by the association's volunteers.
