33rd edition of the flea market of Bouges-le-Château, 75 exhibitors at the foot of the castle in the Indre
The flea market of Bouges-le-Château is one of the oldest in the Indre department. With its 33rd edition in 2026, it has established itself as a must-attend event for treasure hunters in the Berry region. Around 75 exhibitors — professionals and individuals — display their stalls in the village, offering antique furniture, earthenware, trinkets, books, tools, crockery, toys, art objects, and various curiosities. The exceptional setting of the village, dominated by the famous Château de Bouges, gives this flea market a unique and refined atmosphere.
Bouges-le-Château is a commune of about 200 inhabitants located between Levroux and Valençay, in the Indre department. The village owes its fame to its magnificent 18th-century castle, owned by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux. Nicknamed the "little Versailles of Berry", this elegant neoclassical building is surrounded by French formal gardens, a landscaped park, and remarkable stables. The village, with its stone houses and church, fits harmoniously into this exceptional heritage setting.
The flea market is held annually in the village, from 7 am to 6 pm. Entry is free. Around 75 exhibitors (professionals accepted).
