The Association des Usagers du Port de Locmalo-la Pradenne organizes annually a swap meet entirely dedicated to the maritime world. Located in the parking lot and in the Salle de la Criée, Place Pen er Run, the event brings together navigation enthusiasts, fishermen, and lovers of marine decoration.

Port-Louis, a historic maritime town

Port-Louis is a fortified commune located at the entrance of the Lorient estuary, opposite Larmor-Plage. Its port of Locmalo-la Pradenne is a popular pleasure anchorage, nestled at the bottom of a protected cove. The citadel of Port-Louis, built under Louis XIII, watches over the entrance to the estuary and houses the museum of the Compagnie des Indes. This strong maritime identity is reflected in the organization of this specialized market.
