The Vadans Flea Market

Every autumn, the village of Vadans in the Jura region hosts an original flea market at the Espace Liberté. The event stands out with its mixed format, combining two covered sites and an outdoor area, allowing exhibitors and visitors to hunt for treasures regardless of the weather. Around thirty exhibitors – professional dealers and individuals – offer their finds in this unique setting.

A Quality Flea Market

Unlike a typical car boot sale, the Vadans flea market welcomes professionals in the flea market and antique trade, guaranteeing a high-quality selection. You can find antique furniture, collectible tableware, vintage trinkets, paintings, and decorative objects. However, street vendors and sellers of new merchandise are not permitted, preserving the authentic spirit of the flea market.

A Covered and Outdoor Format

The Espace Liberté offers two indoor halls that can accommodate about thirty stands, complemented by outdoor pitches for good weather. This setup allows the flea market to be held in October without worrying about weather uncertainties. From 7:30 am to 5 pm, visitors wander the aisles in search of a good deal.

Vadans, a Wine Village in the Jura

Vadans is a small commune located between Arbois and Poligny, in the heart of the Jura vineyards. This wine village, nestled at the foot of the Revermont hills, is surrounded by vineyards producing the famous Jura wines. The autumn flea market is part of the life of this terroir, between the grape harvest and the first autumn colors.
