A weekend of hunting in the heart of the Albion plateau, in a 100-soul village
On Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May 2026, the commune of Saint-Trinit organises its annual car boot sale over two days, in this tiny village of the Albion plateau (around 100 residents) on the border of Vaucluse and DrΓ΄me. A boon for hunters seeking authenticity, in a preserved landscape of lavender and wide open spaces, far from the tourist flows of the Luberon and central Ventoux.
Saint-Trinit, a commune of around 100 residents perched at 750 metres altitude on the Albion plateau, organises its yearly two-day car boot sale: Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May 2026. In a village this size, every event takes on particular weight: everyone knows each other, everyone participates, and the gathering becomes a highlight of communal life.
Saint-Trinit belongs to those remarkable plateau villages between Ventoux, Luberon and Lure, famous for lavender fields, silence and purity of sky. Long associated with the strategic missile base dismantled in 1996, the plateau has since recovered its original tranquillity and attracts lovers of preserved spaces.
Mainly villagers and plateau residents sell rustic crockery, old farm utensils, agricultural tools, peasant furniture, warm clothing, old skis, books, childhood toys and small decorative objects. Pieces come from ancient family homes and display authenticity not found in urban flea markets.
Saturday is quieter, good for negotiation and dialogue. Sunday attracts more visitors from the surrounding villages. The commune offers refreshments in a genuine village atmosphere.
