Annual flea market organized by the GJ de l'Horn in Guiclan
Every year in March, Guiclan hosts its traditional flea market, organized by the GJ de l'Horn. This family event brings together private sellers and professionals in this village in Léon, about fifteen kilometers from Morlaix. Crêpes and light refreshments are available on site, for a friendly day of treasure hunting in Finistère nord.
Guiclan is a small village in Léon, located in the Horn valley, between Morlaix and Landivisiau. It is in this typical rural environment of northern Finistère that the GJ de l'Horn, a dynamic local association, organizes its flea market every March, which has become an anticipated event for the local community and bargain hunters from the surrounding area.
The event takes place in the village of Guiclan and brings together private and professional exhibitors offering a wide variety of items: tableware, clothing, books, toys, tools, trinkets, and second-hand parts of all kinds. It's the kind of friendly and accessible flea market that we love to find in Breton villages, where you can find good deals without much effort.
The GJ de l'Horn, the organizer of the market, is one of the associations that bring the social fabric of Guiclan to life. Volunteers welcome exhibitors from the morning, manage registrations, and animate the event throughout the day. The exhibitor pricing is affordable: around €3.50 per linear meter, plus €2 per table end, making it an attractive market for individuals wishing to clear out their attics.
On-site, a refreshment stand offers crêpes and light catering, creating the warm atmosphere typical of Breton markets. Visitors can take their time, browse from stall to stall, stop for a bite to eat, and leave with their arms full of finds. Entry is free for visitors, which encourages broad and family attendance.
Beyond the flea market, Guiclan is part of an endearing rural area. The Horn valley, which crosses this part of Léon, offers green landscapes typical of the Breton countryside. Flea market enthusiasts making the trip from Morlaix, Landivisiau, or Saint-Pol-de-Léon can take the opportunity to discover this Finistère countryside, often overlooked by tourists, away from the coastal routes. The Guiclan flea market is thus one of those rural events that give Breton flea market calendars their charm: simple, authentic, and rooted in local life.
In March 2026, the Guiclan flea market returns for a new edition in the village. The GJ de l'Horn welcomes exhibitors and visitors for a friendly day of treasure hunting, with crêpes and light refreshments on site. Free entry for visitors.
