Annual flea market organized by the Prissac festival committee, in the south of the Indre
The Prissac flea market is organized each year by the festival committee of this commune in the south of the Indre. Exhibitors take over the village streets to offer old objects, trinkets, and finds to bargain hunters from the Bouzanne valley and Boischaut Sud.
Each spring, the Prissac festival committee organizes its annual flea market in the village streets. Exhibitors – dealers and individuals – offer furniture, tableware, trinkets, books, tools, toys, clothing, and various other items. The event brings together residents and bargain hunters from neighboring towns in a friendly, village-like atmosphere, characteristic of flea markets in the Berry region.
Prissac is a commune of about 650 inhabitants located in the south of the Indre department, in the Boischaut Sud region. The village is set in a landscape of rolling hedgerows, between meadows, hedges, and small forests. The church, stone houses, and surrounding countryside give the village an authentic rural charm. The commune is crossed by the Bouzanne river, a fish-rich river appreciated by anglers, and is located near the Éguzon lake, one of the largest artificial lakes in France.
The Prissac flea market perfectly embodies the spirit of country flea markets: a simple and pleasant setting, accessible prices, and a village festival atmosphere. Admission is free, and refreshments are available on site.
The Prissac flea market returns on May 24, 2026, in the village streets. Free admission.
