Summer car boot sale on the village square of Prémian, in the heart of Haut-Languedoc
The Prémian car boot sale takes over the village square every summer for a day of treasure hunting in a preserved mountain setting. In the heart of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park, dealers and individuals display clothes, trinkets, and second-hand items in an authentic and warm mountain village atmosphere.
The Prémian car boot sale (34390) takes place on the village square, at 2 impasse Azaïs. From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., exhibitors offer clothes, trinkets, toys, tableware, tools, books, and small furniture in a green and shaded setting. A 3-meter pitch costs €5 and booking is by phone. A breakfast is offered upon arrival and a refreshment stand operates all day.
Nestled in the Jaur valley, in the heart of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park, Prémian is a village of about 600 inhabitants surrounded by chestnut forests and spectacular gorges. The municipality is crossed by the Jaur river, a tributary of the Orb, and is an ideal starting point for hikes towards the Gorges d'Héric and the peaks of the Espinouse. Its Romanesque heritage and peaceful streets make it a popular holiday destination.
The Prémian car boot sale is distinguished by its warm mountain atmosphere. Residents of the village and neighboring towns — Riols, Saint-Pons-de-Thomières, Olargues — gather around the stalls to hunt for treasures and chat. The shared breakfast in the morning creates a unique moment of conviviality, typical of associative events in Haut-Languedoc.
The Prémian car boot sale returns in August 2026 to the village square. Treasure hunting, breakfast, and refreshment stand in the heart of Haut-Languedoc.
