Annual flea market and asparagus festival on Place François Mitterrand in Gizy
The Gizy flea market is held every year in June on Place François Mitterrand. Organized by the association Flag, this original event combines a flea market with 100 to 200 exhibitors and the asparagus festival, an emblematic vegetable of this part of Thiérache. Stall space is charged at €1 per linear meter, with advance registration possible. Free entry from 7 am to 6 pm, catering on site.
Every year in June, the village of Gizy hosts an original flea market accompanied by the asparagus festival. Organized by the association Flag on Place François Mitterrand, this dual event brings together 100 to 200 flea market exhibitors in a festive and gourmet atmosphere.
Gizy is located in a traditional asparagus-growing area in the north of Aisne. The asparagus festival, which accompanies the flea market, celebrates this seasonal vegetable through tastings and themed catering. This original combination of treasure hunting and gastronomy makes the Gizy flea market a unique event in the landscape of Aisne flea markets.
Gizy is a village in Thiérache located near the town of Rozoy-sur-Serre. Place François Mitterrand offers a generous space to accommodate exhibitors and visitors. The attractive rates, at 1 euro per linear meter, encourage the participation of a large number of dealers and individuals.
