1 May, Labour Day and a national bank holiday, is in France a perfect occasion for flea markets and open-air markets. Juvisy-sur-Orge, a hub in northern Essonne, is no exception: a grand flea market is held every 1 May at the Intermarché car park, offering residents and visitors a morning of bargain hunting in a festive, relaxed atmosphere.
