Savigny-sur-Orge's autumn brocante: tradition and renewal

Savigny-sur-Orge is an Essonne residential commune of around 37,000 inhabitants, served by RER C and set in the Orge valley. The Town Hall (savigny.org) organises two major brocantes each year: the spring edition (April) and the larger autumn brocante in September. Around 300 private sellers fill Boulevard Aristide Briand and Avenue des Écoles, with a mix of outdoor stalls and covered market space to handle September's variable weather.

Seller fee: €24 for 3 metres. Free entry for visitors. Hours: 8 am to 6 pm. The event draws bargain hunters from across the Orge valley and southern Essonne.
