Monthly flea market at Beaurepaire station, the first Sunday of each month since 1993
For over 30 years, the Association des Amis de la Gare has organized a flea market every first Sunday of the month at the Place de la Gare de Beaurepaire. This event, created in 1993, has become a true institution in the Isère rhodanienne, attracting bargain hunters, collectors, and the curious from all over the region.
The market takes over the station square, the Chemin du Pouloux, and the La Maladière sector. Around 100 exhibitors, a mix of flea market professionals and savvy individuals, offer a wide selection of items: antiques, furniture, old tableware, trinkets, books, postcards, period tools, vinyl records, and curiosities of all kinds. Food and new items are prohibited, ensuring an authentic market dedicated to treasure hunting.
Beaurepaire is a small town in the Isère region located in the Bièvre plain, between the Rhône and the first foothills of the Vercors. The town, rich in historical heritage dating back to the Middle Ages, offers a pleasant setting for this morning stroll among the flea market stalls. The station district, where the event takes place, retains the charm of old railway areas.
