Biannual flea market and car boot sale at the Jarcieu village hall
The small village of Jarcieu, located in the Valloire valley between Beaurepaire and Saint-Rambert-d'Albon, hosts a flea market and car boot sale twice a year. These biannual events, organized in the village hall, allow exhibitors to offer their items protected from the weather, whatever the season.
The advantage of an indoor flea market is obvious: neither rain nor cold prevents bargain hunters from coming to rummage. The Jarcieu village hall offers a covered and heated space where exhibitors set up their tables with a wide selection of items: crockery, trinkets, clothing, books, toys, and small flea market finds. The atmosphere is intimate and conducive to exchanges.
Jarcieu is a rural commune of about 800 inhabitants, nestled in the Valloire valley, between the hills of North Isère and the Rhône plain. The village preserves a discreet but charming heritage, with its church and traditional farms. The well-equipped village hall regularly serves as a venue for local events.
With its two annual sessions, Jarcieu offers flea market enthusiasts two opportunities a year to unearth treasures. The spring session is often the most popular, while the winter one attracts the most motivated bargain hunters. In both cases, the refreshments and food available on site allow for a convivial time.
