A charity car boot sale in the heart of the Haut-Vallespir

The Le Lien Association Car Boot Sale is one of the major summer events of Saint-Laurent-de-Cerdans, a border village in the Haut-Vallespir. On June 28, 2026, the Le Lien association brings together locals and bargain hunters from 6:30 am for a day under the sign of village solidarity. Stands, set at €4 per linear meter (minimum 2 meters), welcome clothes, tableware, toys, books, vinyls, furniture, curios and objects of all kinds.

Saint-Laurent-de-Cerdans, historic capital of the Catalan espadrille

Nestled at 675 meters altitude in the Haut-Vallespir, just a few kilometers from the Spanish border, Saint-Laurent-de-Cerdans is one of the most emblematic villages of southern Catalonia. In the 19th century, this isolated village became the French capital of the espadrille and the vigatane (traditional Catalan shoe), thanks to a unique textile know-how passed down from generation to generation.
