Minerals, Fossils and Jewelry Exhibition in Arles-sur-Tech

A new mineralogical show in the heart of Vallespir

The town of Arles-sur-Tech, capital of Haut-Vallespir and a city with a strong Catalan character, welcomes for the first time a minerals, fossils and jewelry exhibition on April 4, 5 and 6, 2026. Organized by the Créations et Découvertes 66 association, chaired by Philippe Thévenot, this first edition takes place at the multipurpose community hall, rue du 14 Juillet, in the center of the commune of 2,800 inhabitants.

About thirty specialized exhibitors

For three days, around thirty exhibitors from France and Spain offer a wide choice of raw and polished minerals, fossils, semi-precious stones, collector's crystals and mounted jewelry. Lithotherapy enthusiasts, seasoned collectors and curious visitors will find rare or more affordable pieces to start a collection. A gemologist is on site to identify stones brought by visitors and advise on custom jewelry mounting.

Events and demonstrations

The event also features animations, demonstrations and micro-mountings allowing visitors to discover cutting and setting techniques. Children under 12 enter for free, making it a family-friendly event. Catering is available on site. Arles-sur-Tech, located 45 minutes from Perpignan in the lower Vallespir, provides an ideal setting for this new event.
