A jumble sale in the heart of eastern Lyon's plain

The Pusignan jumble sale is a popular annual event for the inhabitants of the village and surrounding communes in eastern Lyon. This second-hand market brings together local sellers and visitors around a wide selection of second-hand items: clothing for children and adults, toys, board games, books, records, crockery, gardening tools, light furniture and all kinds of trinkets. The event takes place in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere, with catering usually provided on site by the organizers. Pusignan, a preserved village between eastern Lyon and the Ain plain

Pusignan is a village of around 3,300 inhabitants in the Rhône department, about fifteen kilometres east of Lyon, between Meyzieu and the border with Ain. Integrated into the Grand Lyon metropolitan area, the village has managed to preserve its rural character and village identity despite urbanization pressure. Its territory includes farmland, orchards and natural spaces that contrast with the commercial and logistics zones of neighbouring communes. The commune is served by tram T3 (Meyzieu Les Panettes or Meyzieu ZI stop), offering a direct connection with Lyon and Part-Dieu.
