The AMA — Association des élèves de Mons-Asnières, the parents' association for the Jules Verne primary school — organizes its car boot sale every May at the Salle La Revole in Villette-d'Anthon. This event, whose second edition took place in 2026, is a highlight of the school and community life in this town in eastern Lyon.

An event for the children

All profits generated by the car boot sale are donated to the children of the Jules Verne school to fund their educational projects, school trips, and activities. An indoor-outdoor format

The car boot sale takes place in two complementary areas: the Salle La Revole gymnasium for indoor stalls, protected from the weather, and part of the car park for outdoor exhibitors. This dual format allows for a large number of sellers and offers visitors a varied browsing experience. Visitor hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, leaving ample time to explore all the stalls.

Villette-d'Anthon is a commune of about 5,000 inhabitants located in eastern Lyon, between Meyzieu and Pont-de-Chéruy. Easily accessible from Lyon and its eastern suburbs, the Salle La Revole at 26 rue des Tilleuls has free visitor parking. Catering and refreshments, provided by the AMA parent volunteers, allow visitors to eat and drink comfortably throughout the day.
