Handball Club Flea Market of Mazan

Mazan, a market-garden village at the foot of Ventoux

Mazan stretches across the plain at the foot of Mont Ventoux, bordered by Ventoux AOC vineyards, Comtat cherry orchards and market gardens. The village has preserved its Provençal character: shaded lanes, 14th century ramparts, Notre-Dame-de-Pareloup chapel. Here Mazan Ventoux Comtat Handball runs its annual flea market each spring.

A flea market for the club

The MVCH gathers Mazan, Mormoiron, Méthamis and surrounding villages. Its volunteers make the day possible and proceeds fund operations, equipment and youth training.

At the Bigourd Gymnasium

The event takes place outside the Bigourd Gymnasium at the edge of Mazan: 130 free parking spaces, vast flat breezy space, easy access from D942, partial shade. The gymnasium houses the refreshments and toilets.

What to find

Mostly locals selling bric-à-brac, toys, clothing, childcare items, crockery, books, comics, records, small tools, decoration, sports gear, light furniture.

A family day

Refreshments, conversations with the players, children playing. Many visitors extend the day into the village centre and along Mazan's cours des Platanes.
