Aubusson is world-renowned for its tapestry, inscribed on UNESCO's list of intangible cultural heritage since 2009. The Cité internationale de la tapisserie, inaugurated in 2016, showcases six centuries of this exceptional art. The Grande Brocante de l'Été benefits from this cultural influence to attract bargain hunters from well beyond the borders of the Creuse region.
The summer flea market is part of a rich summer program in Aubusson, alongside the famous Grande Braderie on August 14th and weekly markets. Visitors can take advantage of their visit to discover the historic center of Aubusson, its half-timbered houses, and the banks of the Creuse, a true green oasis in the heart of the Limousin region.
