The Grande Braderie, Champagnole's summer event

Every summer in July, the center of Champagnole transforms into a huge open-air market for the Grande Braderie. Organized by ChampaSympa, the commercial and craft union of Champagnole, this event brings together the town's traders who offer end-of-series items, stock clearances, and exceptional promotions on Place Prost and Place Foch, as well as in Rue de l'Égalité.

Car boot sale and festive atmosphere

Alongside the commercial street sale, a car boot sale is organized by the Football Club de Champagnole (FCC) in Parc de la Belle-Frise. Individuals and bargain hunters meet there from 6 a.m. to find good deals. The day continues into the evening with a DJ who gets visitors dancing to hits from the 80s and 90s, creating a festive atmosphere in the pedestrian streets of the town center.

The Grande Braderie is one of the highlights of the summer in Champagnole. Refreshments and food are available on site, and the lively streets of the town center offer a friendly setting for a day of shopping, bargain hunting, and entertainment. The event attracts several thousand visitors from all over the Haut-Jura and beyond, making this day one of the busiest of Champagnole's summer season.
