Large spring car boot sale in the center of the village of Laurens, organized by APE Les Pitchounets
The Grand Vide-Grenier de Laurens takes over the village center each spring for a day of generous and family-friendly treasure hunting. Organized by APE Les Pitchounets, the event brings together private and professional exhibitors in vast 5x4 meter pitches for 10 euros, for the benefit of the village's school activities.
Each spring, the village center of Laurens (34480) comes alive with its Grand Vide-Grenier. Organized by APE Les Pitchounets, the event offers large 5x4 meter pitches for €10 for exhibitors, who offer clothing, toys, books, dishes, trinkets, furniture and flea market items. Mandatory booking is done by phone between 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Nestled between the Faugères hills and the Biterrois plain, Laurens is a wine-growing village of about 1,500 inhabitants, renowned for its Château de Laurens, a 17th-century seigneurial residence, and the spectacular Château de Grézan, a neo-Gothic fortress surrounded by vineyards. The terroir produces fine wines in the AOP Faugères appellation, one of the most prestigious in Languedoc. The village's narrow streets, lined with stone winegrower houses, offer a picturesque setting for treasure hunting.
The profits from the Grand Vide-Grenier finance the school activities and educational outings organized by APE Les Pitchounets. A refreshment stand offers drinks and sweet and savory snacks throughout the day. The family atmosphere and the association's dynamism make this event a much-anticipated meeting for treasure hunters from the Faugérois and Biterrois regions.
The Grand Vide-Grenier de Laurens returns in April 2026 to the village center. Treasure hunting and conviviality for the benefit of APE Les Pitchounets.
