About Foire Antiquités Allanche

The Foire à la Brocante et Antiquités d'Allanche is a nationally renowned event that takes place annually for three days, on the first weekend of August, in the village's municipal park. Organized by the association Les Amis du Vieil Allanche, this fair brings together about a hundred carefully selected professional exhibitors specializing in folk art, antique jewelry, period furniture, paintings, collectibles, and vintage items. An expert is present throughout the three days to authenticate and appraise objects. Open from 9 am to 7 pm, the fair is the major antiques event in Cantal.

The Allanche Fair: a national reference for antiques in Auvergne

For nearly fifty years, the small village of Allanche, on the Cézallier plateau, has hosted one of the most important antiques and flea markets in Auvergne. Organized by the association Les Amis du Vieil Allanche, this three-day event has become a must-attend for antique dealers, flea market vendors, and collectors from all over France.

A hundred carefully selected exhibitors

Quality is the watchword of the Allanche Fair. The organizers carry out a rigorous selection of exhibitors, all professionals, to ensure the diversity and authenticity of the items offered. You can find Auvergne folk art, antique jewelry, period furniture ranging from the Early Modern period to more recent times, paintings, collectibles, and vintage items. Approximately a hundred dealers set up in the municipal park for this occasion.

An expert available for three days

One of the unique features of this fair is the permanent presence of an expert who offers consultations and appraisals to visitors. Whether it's to authenticate an inherited object or to know its value, this service is a major asset for both visitors and exhibitors.

Allanche and Cézallier, a land of heritage

Allanche is a commune in Cézallier, this vast high-altitude plateau located between the Cantal mountains and the Sancy massif. This region, marked by livestock farming and pastoral traditions, possesses a rich and preserved heritage. The association Les Amis du Vieil Allanche works year-round to safeguard and promote the heritage of Cézallier, with the antiques fair being the highlight of its efforts.
