Annual car boot sale for the benefit of the Saint Joseph school of Jujurieux
Organized by the Saint Joseph school of Jujurieux, the Farfouille is an annual car boot sale traditionally held on the last Sunday of April. This spring event brings together dozens of private sellers in the center of the village, in the heart of the Ain valley.
The profits from the event are entirely donated to the Saint Joseph school to finance school trips, educational projects, and the improvement of equipment. Parents of students and volunteers mobilize to ensure the smooth running of the day, from welcoming exhibitors to managing the refreshment stand.
Jujurieux is a historic village in the Ain department, famous for its Soieries Bonnet, a listed historic monument. The town offers a pleasant setting for strolling between the stalls while enjoying the local architectural heritage. The car boot sale is reserved for individuals only. Registration is by telephone and is mandatory. Stand setup begins at 6:00 AM and sales start at 8:00 AM. A refreshment stand and food are available on-site throughout the day.
