Piolenc is a 5,000-inhabitant town in northern Vaucluse, on the Orange-Bollène axis. Known as the « garlic capital » — it celebrates a yearly Garlic Festival in August — the town lives among Côtes du Rhône vineyards and market gardens.
Accessible pricing and activities
At €10 for 3 linear metres, ESAT offers one of the lowest rates in the department. The open-air site is spacious with easy parking. Music, catering, demonstrations of ESAT workshops.
Bargain hunting in April
Late April: the flea market season is just starting. Attendance is still manageable and stalls often hold the best pieces kept for the opening. Combine with Mornas castle, Orange Roman theatre, Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes or Vaison-la-Romaine.
